Godfrey Fire Department Battle Garage Fire Friday Morning

GODFREY – Godfrey Fire Department responded to a detached garage on fire on Jackson Lane Friday morning.

When firefighters arrived on scene the garage had fire and smoke coming from the structure. Firefighters was able to get the fire under control quickly. Black smoke could be seen from Godfrey Road.

No injuries were reported, and a cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
