Dolores Leona Rozycke, 103, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 10:01 p.m. Sat. Feb. 14, 2026 at her home with her loved ones at her side.
She was born Dec. 9, 1922 in St. Louis, MO to the late Barney and Matilda (Yerke) Podorski.
Dolores was married to Stanley Rozycke and he preceded her in death Dec. 26, 1986.
Dolores held many positions in her century of life, including working at a pie factory at age 14 and later for Bussman Fuse on the assembly line. What added the most meaning to her life was being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caregiver to her family.
She is survived by a daughter Pamela C. (Jack L.) Saltich of Scottsdale, AZ, 4 grandchildren: Mike (Lee) Suess of Granite City, Dan (Maria) Saltich of Paradise Valley, AZ, Beth (Matthew) Bradfield of Austin, TX and Doug Suess of Denver, CO; 10 great-grandchildren, a niece, Charlene Wilson of Florissant, MO and a nephew, Charles Ollerman Jr. of Imperial, MO.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Suess, and a sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Charles Ollerman Sr.
