Dawn M. Dodson, 46, passed away unexpectedly at 7:20 pm Saturday, October 24, 2015 at her home.
She was born on November 13, 1968 in E. St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Edward Mike Gordon and Gayla Schutte.
Dawn was a very free spirited woman. Most knew her for her sense of humor, beautiful smile, love for animals and her heart of gold. She had a feisty and energetic, yet caring personality and was loved by many.
She is survived by her father of Granite City; a daughter, Holly Wreath of Cottage Hills and her siblings, Edward “Eddie” Gordon, David, Kristy, Shawna, Micki, Michelle, Ryan, Patsy, Sandy and Brenda and numerous nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Samuel Wreath.
A memorial visitation will be from 1 pm until service at 3 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the House of Victory Church, 20 Harvel Court in Cottage Hills with Pastor Tim Naylor officiating.
