Ronald L. Noerper, 64, of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Thursday September 5, 2024, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Ann (Schaefer) Noerper.
Ron was a lifelong resident of Millstadt. He attended St. James Catholic School and later graduated from Althoff Catholic High School. He was active in sports throughout his school years, played football, baseball, ran track, and wrestled. After high school, he entered the workforce, he worked on an oil rig in Texas. After returning to Millstadt, he worked for Kostelac Rendering, D&S Drilling and Local 520.
In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, ride his motorcycle and hang out with family and friends. Ron will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ron is survived by his brother, Robert J. Noerper, his sisters, Rita M. Barker and Rose A. Clarno; and his nieces and nephew: Hannah Barker, Lucas Barker and Natalie Clarno.
Visitation will be held on Saturday September 14, 2024, from 9:30-11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 405 W. Madison St., Millstadt, IL; Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Fr. Evaristus Akabueze, celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ronald L. Noerper may be directed to Millstadt Senior Center or Helping Strays of Monroe County and will be collected at the church.
