O’Fallon Blows Past Granite City 55-24 In The Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic

COLLINSVILLE – Granite City Warriors and the O’Fallon Panthers were able to battle for one quarter before the Panthers ran away with the game to win 55-24 in the Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic

In the first quarter the Warriors and Panthers were neck and neck and took a 13-13 tie going into the second quarter. After the first quarter it was all Panthers basketball. In the second quarter O’fallon pushed the lead to 31-16 going into the half time.

In the third quarter O’Fallon was able to move the lead to 46 to 22 while holding the Warriors to 6 points. In the final quarter O’fallon outscored the Warriors 9-3.

Only one Granite City player made it into double figures they were led by Tyrese Grove with 12 points. O’Fallon had two in double figures, Caleb Burton with 14 points and Jalen Smith with 12 points.

O’fallon will play Collinsville in the next round.
