
BELLEVILLE – Homewood-Flossmoor edged a tight field to win the Norm Armstrong Boys Track and Field Invite on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Belleville West, using depth across events to finish with 78 points.
Naperville Central was second with 64.5 points, followed by Chatham Glenwood with 62 and Belleville West with 53. Edwardsville placed fifth with 42 points. Belleville East finished seventh with 36, Civic Memorial was 11th with 22, O’Fallon scored 11, Collinsville had 8 points, and Alton totaled 5.

Civic Memorial’s Max Weber won the 3,200 meters in 9:03.81 as one of the highlights for the Eagles, with Bryaden Kloeppel of O’Fallon second in 9:18.84. Colin Thomas of Edwardsville placed sixth in 9:46.55.
Edwardsville posted a win in the shot put from Gavin Stukenberg, who threw 17.77 meters. Collinsville’s Jayden Haire was ninth at 15.06. Stukenberg also placed fifth in the discus at 50.25 meters.

Parker Owens led Edwardsville in the pole vault, clearing 4.64 meters to win. Zane Meier of Triad was third at 4.49.
In the 800, Civic Memorial’s Glenn Collins finished second in 1:56.68. Alton’s Hank McClaine placed fourth in 1:57.91. Both runners show great potential for the remainder of the season with the Norm Armstrong performances.
In the high jump, Triad’s Mac Musgrave was fourth at 1.90 meters, and Edwardsville’s football and basketball star Devyon Hill-Lomax was fifth, also at 1.90.
In the 1,600, Granite City’s Landon Harris was eighth in 4:24.77. Weber placed fifth in 4:23.29, Edwardsville’s Cooper Wittek was seventh in 4:24.52, and Thomas was 10th in 4:25.15.
Belleville West’s Morquez Bulliner won the 400 in 48.84. Civic Memorial’s Ty Brooks was ninth in 50.57.
Belleville East’s Daylin Donaldson and Belleville West’s Jayln Cole went 1-2 in the 110 high hurdles, with Donaldson winning in 13.68 and Cole second in 13.76. Granite City’s Quentin Campbell was seventh in 14.99, and Cruz Lakatos was ninth in 15.43.
Donaldson also won the 300-meter low hurdles in 37.22. Edwardsville’s Kaden Wilson was 13th in 41.73, and Lakatos was 15th in 41.81.
Triad took second in the 4×100 relay in 42.31. Edwardsville placed second in the frosh-soph 4×100 relay in 44.19 and was seventh in the 4×800 relay in 8:18.41.
