
Patrick James Osuchowski, age 70, of Troy, Illinois, died on May 16, 2026. He was born on May 10, 1956, in Granite City, Illinois.
Patrick attended Granite City High School and worked as a salesclerk in a hardware store, as well as taking on handyman and odd jobs over the years. He most enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors, and he will be remembered as an all-around good guy.
On September 26, 1998, he married Karen, nee Fohne, at Mick’s Lake in Highland, Illinois, and she survives. He is also survived by his annoying but lovable cat, Stinky Ralph; bonus kids and their families: Tiffany (Josh) Gillison and Adam, Lily, and Leah; Patrick (Emily) Stille and Isla, Lacey, and Lennon; and Shane (Bre) Stille; his brother, Michael J. Osuchowski of Granite City; his brother-in-law, Stewart Stoddart of Denver; his niece, Jessica Stoddart; his great-nephew, L.J. Kaiser, both of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Florence, nee Hannah, Osuchowski; his sister, Linda D. Stoddart; and his four-legged kids, Max, Misty, and Tarasenko.
Memorial donations in memory of Pat would be appreciated to Partners for Pets, or Hope Animal Rescues.
A country Irish Wake to celebrate Pat’s life will be held on Sept 19, 2026, 12 pm-6:00 pm, at Coles Creek Campground, 16225 Coles Creek Rd., Carlyle, IL 62231. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Bring lawn chairs and BYOB. Come prepared to share a story or memory of Pat.
