Gary John Weber, 70, of Belleville, IL and Palmetto, FL, born June 16, 1954, in East St. Louis, IL, died Friday, August 16, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Gary had worked as an ironworker and was a member of Union Local 392. He was a social butterfly who will be remembered for his story telling, funny jokes, and his infectious laugh. He loved music, dancing, watching Sunday NFL football, and was an avid golfer. Everyone loved Gary, and he always had a kind word to share.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Jack” and Mary, nee Rheinecker, Weber; and a brother, Glenn Weber.
He is survived by his wife of almost 15 years, Linda, nee Hammel, Weber, whom he married on October 16, 2009; a daughter, Jenna (Brandon) Dougherty; five grandchildren, Jada, Dillon, and Reese Dougherty, and Martie and Raelee Schneider; two sisters, Laura (Peter) Gass and Lee (Stewart) Loesche; a brother, David (Lynda) Weber; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.
